Assessment
So we can plan the most suitable programme we need to know exactly what you want to get out of the tutoring. Is there a deadline? What are your gaps in knowledge? The quality of the assessment process will allow everyone to see the impact of the programme and ensure the best outcomes.
Plan
Based on the initial assessment, the intention of the tutoring and all other factors, a plan is produced and shared. This will detail all relevant factors – the areas to be covered in the sessions, deadlines, assessments and how the programme will be reviewed. This is when the student is matched with a Tutor who has the specialised knowledge and expertise required.
Do
The tutoring sessions will commence and will follow the plan. The tutor will work with student addressing the areas of the plan and will constantly be monitoring and evaluating the progress of the student. Although we have a formal review at the end of the plan, that doesn’t mean we won’t be looking for how things could be changed or improved to get the best out of the tutoring session for the student.
Support
Throughout the process we are here to support you. Whether its questions about the programme your child is following, additional sessions or maybe another tutor for different subjects, we are there to help. You will receive regular reports about how the student is progressing.
Review
Once the programme is completed, we review it to see the impact the sessions have had. We will also ask the students and their parents/carers to complete an evaluation. This enables us to constantly respond to the needs and wishes of our students.
